Koi Pond #2
Where there's grass, there's room for a pond. Following this logic, we plan to begin construction of yet another Koi pond in summer 2008. Dimensions on this new pond will be 20' long by 10' wide, with an average depth of 6'. Total water volume will be just over 8,000 gallons. This will be a proper pond, complete with two aerated bottom drains, settlement chamber and surface skimmer. Filtration will be provided by an Advantage 10 Bead Filter, which we also carry in our online store! A UV-clarifier will also be added, to help keep the water crystal clear year round. Once completed, this pond will primarily be used for our personal Koi, and a few larger Koi up for sale in our online store.
